Organizational Alignment

Organizations must be purposefully aligned as they adapt to changing landscapes.

By understanding how each part impacts the whole, we help you rethink how all of the pieces of your organization fit together.

For even the most compelling strategy to succeed, all the parts of an organization—from people and culture to processes and functions—must be aligned. We collaborate with leaders and teams to figure out what they need to be really good at to make their strategy work, then redesign the organization around it.

An organization's success depends on the synergy of all its parts, and on a culture that honors the inherent dignity of every team member.

How we build organizational alignment

Organizational Design

An organization's design should be determined by its strategy. Once we know what you need to be really good at, we can see what fits, what doesn't, and what's missing, then bring everything into line: functions, people, culture, values, and processes.

People Strategy

To fulfill its purpose, an organization must ensure that all people feel a sense of belonging. It also needs to anticipate, source, and develop talent. By aligning individual skills, requirements, and interests with those of the organization, we help every person achieve their highest purpose and contribute their greatest value.

Culture and Values

An organization's culture is what it feels like to work there: the assumptions people carry, the values they act on, the way things actually get done. We help organizations build a culture that matches their beliefs and brand and serves their strategy.

Workflow Design

Using design thinking and other methods that disrupt traditional ways of working, we help identify processes that are no longer serving the strategy. From mapping workflows to clarifying how decisions are made, we create opportunities for people to take ownership of and create more agile processes and systems.

Transformation Plans

For transformation to take hold, the plan has to support the people making it happen. We help organizations move through transitions with intention: mapping what's changing and why, preparing the people it affects, and aligning leaders around a shared path–so that what’s on paper becomes how people actually do the work.

“Get Realigned”

Members of the Crossland Group team are now certified to facilitate the Brené Brown Dare to Lead™ program.

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, this program is an empirically-based courage-building program designed to be led by organizational development professionals.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.

The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Crossland helped us figure out how to wrestle a swirl of ambitions and anxieties into concrete, actionable plans, and then helped us actually execute those plans.
