Regenerative Leadership

Thriving organizations are led by people who are present and purposeful.

We help you and your teams build the self-awareness to stay centered, and the capacity to keep moving.

Leaders are not superheroes, and they are not saints. They are real people. The most effective ones learn to embrace vulnerability, hone curiosity, and lead with intention, even when the way forward is uncertain.

When leaders are centered, it has a ripple effect. Teams take their cue from how a leader meets pressure, uncertainty, and change. An organization can only be as steady as the people guiding it.

How we cultivate conscious leadership

Board Effectiveness

A board that understands its role can be an organization's greatest asset or, left undefined, one of its biggest constraints. We engage with boards to clarify their roles, identify skill gaps, and design governance systems that help bring the strategy to life.

Shared Leadership

Leadership rarely flows one way. While every leader is responsible for their own function, they are also collectively responsible for the health of the whole organization. We help leadership teams hold and balance both: leading in their own domains, while sharing ownership of decisions, tradeoffs, and outcomes that affect the entire organization.

Coaching

We coach people to grow with intention, treating each person as unique, resourceful, and whole. We focus on helping individuals and teams develop deeper self-awareness and do their highest-value work while building trust, belonging, and a culture rooted in dignity.

Board and Leader Assessments

We design and administer robust board and leadership assessments that uncover the critical information you need to know. Crossland’s subsequent analysis and recommendations provide clarity on what is and isn’t working and offers actionable paths forward.

Talent Transitions

Every transition, even a welcome one, can feel like a loss. We help organizations prepare for the practical side: succession, onboarding roadmaps, and continuity systems. We also equip leaders and teams for the human side, naming the grief that often comes with letting go.

“Be Selfish”

Members of the Crossland Group team are now certified to facilitate the Brené Brown Dare to Lead™ program.

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, this program is an empirically-based courage-building program designed to be led by organizational development professionals.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.

The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Crossland’s work with us on distributing leadership throughout the organization positioned the Foundation to weather an unexpected leadership transition with relative ease and has placed us a solid position to adapt through future transitions.
